My name is Deborah Lemons. I am the Director of The Rose of Sharon Life Center. I was a volunteer at this center many years ago. My husband and I did the first Stepping Stones parenting class's. We moved to New Mexico 5 years ago. I was involved in a like ministry in Aztec N.M. I have been a Christian since I was 9. I have 3 boys married with children now. I am very privileged to be a part of this great ministry and work with some very special women who love God, and enjoy helping others. I started in July of 2005. It has been a wonderful journey. God has shown us many miracles. The community has rallied together to support us. We have helped many young women and young men, and little ones as well.Thank you to everyone who has supported us financially and prayerfully. God bless you.

My name is Laura. I have been a Christian since I was eight years old. I started walking with the Lord in my twenties. I have been married for 18 years and have four beautiful children.I am voluntering at The Center because I love working with people who have the same goal, to let the Lord use them any way that He can. Here the Lord uses us to let these teens know that they are not alone, that someone is always here to help, and that they are loved.

Hello. My name is Tawnee Martin and I am 24 years old. I have been a volunteer counselor at The Life Center for about a month and a half. I really enjoy the opportunity it gives me to witness to others. I am attending school right now, and I work with special needs children. In the future I plan to do missions work.

Hello, My name is Beverly Scarpace, and I am a counselor here at The Life Center. I gave my life to the Lord at the age of twelve and have attended High Desert Church for the past ten years. My husband David and I do missions work in Mexico together. I volunteer at The Center because I go where the Lord leads me.

Hi, my name is Donna. I am a Christian and a volunteer at the Rose of Sharon Life Center. I am married and have 2 daughters, 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. I am a retired bookkeeper. I heard about the need for volunteers at the Life Center at my church, Hesperia Christian Church, and felt led to come and help out. I really enjoy helping out where there is a chance of saving a life.

My name is Lynda Kay and I am a counselor at the Rose of Sharon Life Center.
I am married to Donald Beatty and recently retired from a career with the
Department of Defense. I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ
around the age of seven. I attend High Desert Church, where I heard about
the Life Center through my Bible study group. When I learned that the Life
Center needed volunteer counselors, I felt God calling me to become a part
of this ministry to share His love and truth with women in crisis.

My name is Marie. I am born a again believer. I have been widowed for 16 years. I have 2 daughters who are married. They both live in this area. I also have a grandaughter 15 years old. Apple Valley Baptist is where I worship and serve.

Hi my name is Renee and I am 32 years old. I was saved when I accepted Christ at age six, but began living for Him when I turned fifteen; though not always easy, my journey has been adventuresome! I have been married to a wonderful man, Paul, for 13 years and we have been blessed with three beautiful children through adoption: Lydia (5), David, (2), and Elijah (5 mo).
I am a part-time teacher and a full-time mom! Children are such a blessing and I am so thankful for the opportunity I have to serve at the Rose of Sharon!

I thank God for giving me eternal salvation through his son Jesus Christ. Throughout my life, he has been my source of joy and strength, in both the good an din the hard times.
Because of him, i have my wonderful husband and five beautiful children. As a semi retired nurse. I now have the time and opportunity to serve with others at the Life Center. What a joy it is, making a difference for God, along with the dedicated staff. It is God who makes the difference.
